Bob has been involved in shooting and hunting since 1968 and started competitive skeet shooting in the NSSA from 1978-1988. He has earned over 25 Championship titles throughout his career. Bob is a top member of our pro staff and is heavily involved in the waterfowl industry. He spends as much time in the field as possible field-testing prototype products to bring to the marketplace.
"If you want to increase your kill ratio on waterfowl, turkey or upland game birds you need to experience first hand the knock down power of the Wad Wizard. While guiding throughout the season I only shoot back up on cripples, so my shots are sometimes 40 plus yards and my clients always comment as to what a great shot that was and so on. I tell them its the Wad Wizard, not me! I hunted this season with the new SWAT 12 tube and let me tell you, they got the name right! I won't shoot anything else in the field."
His motto is “Remember to make time to take a kid hunting”. Shown with Bob is his son Glenn.

Craig began hunting at a very young age, learning about the outdoors from his father. He has been hunting and guiding for 28 years and still has sleepless nights before a hunt. His interest in wildlife led him to the College of Natural Resources where he studied Fish and Wildlife. His studies and experience in the outdoors landed him the position of Boat Captain with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources near Kingsville, Ontario – home of the famous Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary. It is here that Craig began to expand his knowledge of hunting and calling waterfowl. Thanks to a few local waterfowlers, Craig’s calling improved and he soon began winning local competitions.
To date, Craig has won the South Western Goose Calling Championship 3 times, the Canadian Classic 4 times and the Canadian World 3 times, as well as numerous regional contests. He has never placed lower then 2nd in any goose calling competition in Canada and has several top 3 finishes in duck calling. After being retired from most Canadian Competitions by 2001, Craig began calling in the US where his success has continued with numerous top 5 finishes as well as a few wins.
Craig has appeared in hunting magazines, T.V. shows and waterfowl videos, most recently Black Foot Down which was filmed during his stay with St Lawrence Outfitters. His pursuit of waterfowl has taken Craig across many parts of North America, guiding and hunting with friends. In the off season he spends his time training his 2 retrievers, fishing, painting decoys or travelling to calling competitions across North America. His latest project has been the development of a signature series goose call with GK Calls. The “Canuck” is a short hunting call designed to fit the needs of most waterfowlers. Along with his call Craig produced a Short reed goose calling instructional CD “ALL GOOSE” covering everything from the basics to the more advanced sounds. Visit www.gkcalls.com for more information.
"Either guiding, filming a hunt or just hunting with my buddies, I rely on my Wad Wizard choke tubes all season long! I've never seen such consistently clean kills and "smack down" patterns in all my years of hunting. Whether it’s my 12 gauge or 20 gauge, all my guns are powered by the "Wizard"." Email Craig at goosin@sympatico.ca
A few accomplishments include:
3 time Canadian World Goose calling Champion
4 time Canadian Classic Goose calling Champion
Mississippi Valley Open Goose Calling Champion
2 time North American 2 Man Goose Calling Champion
Several other championships and top 5 finishes

"My grandfather introduced me to waterfowl hunting when I was in the 6th grade on his private land bordering the historic Illinois River. Ever since my first experience I was hooked. After years of hunting in Illinois, my pursuit of waterfowl has taken me across the entire state; chasing mallards in the northern most section, all the way to the goose capital of the United States in the southern tip. After hunting for a couple of years, my grandpa gave me one of his calls. I was instantly fascinated with the calling aspect of waterfowl hunting and had a great desire to learn to speak the language. I bought myself a cheap call and a tape and started from there. After countless hours of practice I started to become interested in contest calling and entered my first contest at the age of 15. From the beginning I wanted to be a competitive goose caller, but figured that I would have a brighter future in duck contests. After a couple years of competing in duck contests I began advancing in goose contests as well. Once I started having some success in goose contests, I gave up main street duck calling and switched my focus completely to goose calling.

Field has been chasing waterfowl since he was eight years old. He was born and raised in Kentucky but now resides in Clayton , Ohio. Field’s passions include waterfowl hunting, spring turkey hunting, contest calling, photography and video productions.Field loves the competitive aspect of contest calling but getting ducks and geese in your face is what its all about. Despite his ripe young age of 22, Field has guided in several different regions of the U.S . at some of the most competitive and successful commercial hunting operations to help pay for college tuition. Field now works for Fred Zink as manager of “Zink Calls”. Field’s duties include call production, video operation and editing. Field loves filming because he says, “capturing a good hunt on film is just as rewarding as being behind the trigger”. Field also prostaffs for Avery Outdoors , working with the public at shows and filming hunts across the country for Zinks calls, Avery Outdoors and Mossy Oaks Whistling Wings Series.
“I feel a good choke is very important day in and day out, whether for turkey hunting or waterfowl hunting. Making good shots on film is very important and from what I have seen, Wad Wizard® hits them just as hard at 50 yards as it does at 10 yards. Wad Wizard® will definitely be in my Remington this year.” Email Field at field@zinkoutdoors.com

"I am very lucky to have been born and raised in a hunting family in the waterfowl rich Columbia Basin of Washington State. From an early age, waterfowl hunting has always been my main interest. This interest has since spawned into a full time guiding job over the last five years. The pursuit of waterfowl has also allowed me to travel to many western states and also Alberta, Canada in search of ducks and geese. My interest in the calling aspect of waterfowl hunting has also led to me competing in contest calling. I have had many top three finishes in both duck and goose contests throughout the western United States including a top three finish in the Washington State goose contest the last three years, and with the help of Bob Alfieri and Giant Killer calls I have enjoyed increased success both on the stage and in the field. Another product that has had a great impact on my hunting success is the Wad Wizard choke tube. Since I began using the Supreme two years ago, I have noticed a significant decrease in the number of cripples. When I am guiding I often shoot back up on cripples and the Wad Wizard allows me to knock down birds that otherwise would have been lost. I spend five months a year chasing waterfowl and I am hard on my equipment, and the Wad Wizard® has definitely passed the test. My Wad Wizard® Supreme is an essential piece of my hunting equipment, whether I’m hunting turkeys, geese, ducks or doves; I won’t shoot a gun without one. " Email Chad at duckcallinkid@hotmail.com |

Richard was first introduced to waterfowl hunting by his father at the age of five. 37 years later he and his dad are still the best of hunting partners. The newest addition to their group is Richards' 8 year old daughter Jordan who, at the age of 4 carried her first goose out of the corn fields and has been going ever since. Now at 8 she has been sea duck hunting for 3 seasons. Rich grew up on the coast of Maine which is notably one of the most famous destinations if you are looking to hunt Eiders and Scoters. Richard currently owns and operates Downeast Sea Ducks and spends about 75 to 80 days a year on the ocean in pursuit of the largest duck in North America. He is also a member of the Maine Professional Guides association as well as Ducks Unlimited. Richard has successfully mastered the art of hunting sea ducks and specializes in only sea ducks. Rich has been shooting Wad Wizard Tubes since they first appeared on the market and currently has one in every shotgun he owns from Auto 5s to Super Black Eagles and Xtremas. Being successful comes from confidence that your equipment is first class and performs at its best each day out. If you see Rich you will without question see only a Wad Wizard® in his gun. "I am a father of 2 and husband of one. I have been an avid waterfowler for 20 years. My wife would say obsessed goose hunter!! I have always enjoyed the outdoors and especially being able to call in geese. I have been professionally guiding for 6 years and running my own guide service , Widow Maker Guide Service LLC for 3 years. I have been using a ten gauge for about 15 years and recently started to use the Wad Wizard STUD10 . This gives the tightest, shortest shot string possible. In the past I have used a couple of aftermarket chokes to try to achieve the same results. After side by side comparisons, which I personally conducted , I have since sold them all and will continue to use the Wad Wizard. It's not hard to endorse a product that works so well. Thanks for a Great Product!! " Email Troy at tddauter@nconnect.net |

Over twenty years of experience in waterfowl hunting have allowed Jeff to perfect his technique in luring almost any species of duck, as well as Snow and Canada geese that have crossed his path. His knowledge and professionalism acquired from a natural curiosity and diligent work have opened new horizons for him, notably in the world of communications. Let’s consider the numerous articles he wrote for the “ Sentier Chasse et Pêche” (SCP) magazine, his waterfowl hunting video's with Action Hunting and Fishing video productions or his waterfowl hunting sequences in Norman Byrns’ s TV program “ Bonne Chasse” on the RDS channel. All these collaborations not only underline his undeniable qualities as a hunter, but also and most of all they confirm his communicator skills. His favorite game bird is the Canada goose, because of the challenge it offers. Above all, he prefers the technique of field hunting with decoys and a ground blind. Although Jeff admits a preference for Canada goose hunting, just talk to him about hunting for puddle ducks on the water or in the fields, or about oldsquaws on the North shore of the St Lawrence , and you’ll see his eyes sparkle with passion.
“When I got the chance to try a Wad Wizard Supreme, it was springtime. Unfortunately, almost all the snow geese had already left my region for their nesting grounds. It was too late for a few tests on the real birds. So I decided to try it on crows. From the first shot on one of these black birds, I knew that I had a killer tool in my hands. Shot after shot, I was able to repeat the same incredible results, actually, I should say devastating results, that made me a forever dedicated fan of the Wad Wizard Supreme! Even the crows flying at a distance of 45 yards were falling as if they had been hit by a 10 gauge shot! The Wad Wizard Supreme® really pushed me to the best, and you can be certain that I am going to use it next fall in every one of my Brownings. Every serious waterfowler should own one!!!” Email Jeff at jeffr@averyoutdoors.com |

Guiding waterfowl hunters for the last 10 years has taught me many valuable things. When I started hunting, I used a Browning 10 gauge . I started with a BPS and upgraded to a 10 Gauge Gold 12 years ago. I spent a lot of money on choke tubes/ shot combinations to achieve the tightest pattern possible. I found the best results with the WW STUD-10. After conducting tests with factory tubes and other after market chokes, the WW was the hands-down winner. The STUD-10 is almost a sure thing, with the most shot on-target and tight patterning . While guiding I am often called on for "clean up", It’s lights out with the Wad Wizard. I continually see people swat the water with ineffective patterns and wonder how they hit any birds at all? It has certainly improved my performance and it will help yours, too. It is a real pleasure to be associated with such a quality product. Contact Troy at troydautermann@yahoo.com |

"I love to hunt ducks and geese, primarily Canada’s and mallards. I was lucky to be introduced to the sport at a young age and the passion has stuck with me ever since. I have been hunting waterfowl for 14 years now. I live in Walkerton Ontario and I am a fulltime guide with Grey Bruce Outfitters guiding waterfowl and turkey hunts. I am out in the field guiding anywhere from 60-80 days a year. I need all the help I can get when shooting cripples at longer ranges than most, my Wad Wizard® is the key to my success. I have seen a dramatic decrease in the amount of cripples and also you can gain a few more needed yards on wary birds. As a guide it beats running 150 yards to run down someone else’s crippled bird.
In the spring when turkey hunting takes over I use the same choke that I used all fall to hunt waterfowl. The patterns are extremely effective and the best part is that my Wad Wizard never leaves the end of my gun.
I love the outdoors and I am always looking for a buddy to go out for a day in the field with, whether it be guiding or just hunting with some old buddies, if the seasons are open chances are I am out there.
In 2005 I became a pro-staffer with GK calls. I have hunted with my Wad Wizard Supreme for two years now. I can't see myself ever taking it back out of the end of my 12 gauge no matter what season it is. Wad Wizard® chokes have been by far the best thing that has happened to my shooting and I am grateful for being able to use them. In the off season I spend most of my time training my dogs, fishing and traveling to hunt tests. Email Luke at luke_scherders@hotmail.com |

Abel Cortina
Prosser, WA |
My name is Abel A. Cortina and I’m from Prosser, Washington. I’m married and have two wonderful children. I’m currently a First Sergeant in the US Army in charge of a company of soldier trainers. I was a Drill Sergeant for 12 years in the U. S. Army Reserve and continued to do that until July 1, 2005.
In my civilian job, I work for Fluor Hanford, at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation as a Special Response Team Lieutenant (SWAT). I’m certified to teach Handguns, Rifles, and Automatic weapons as well and Pressure Point Control Tactics. I have been certified to teach Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) basics and have graduated from Sniper School (Top Shooter). I also taught Hunter Education for 6 years in Washington State.
I started duck can goose hunting at the age of 9 yrs and have continued to follow this great obsession ever since. To my friends, I’m a total duck and goose-hunting addict. I hunt mostly public lands and that can be very competitive in itself. I started guiding a few years ago for Burbank Guide Service in Washington and enjoy every minute of it. I don’t do it for the money, but for self-satisfaction, introducing young hunters to the sport. Out of all my duck and goose hunting partners, I’m the one with all the equipment that we use for hunting. My shed is full of decoys and other waterfowling equipment. I have a Jet boat that I use when we hunt big water. I have also given duck clinics and waterfowl seminars at sportsman show on “How to properly operate a Duck call” and also “How to Call Ducks”. I have taught many of my friends how to call as well as anyone that wants to learn. My wife and friends tell me that I’m the biggest duck hunter they know, due to me always talking about ducks and tactics. It seems I’m the guy they call for advice on how to set-up their decoys spread and anything else concerning ducks and geese.
I hunt roughly 50-60 days of the 107-day season. I spend most of my free time during the winter months scouting and enjoying time with my wife looking for new areas to hunt. I even take vacation during the hunting season to allow me more time in the field. I’m a member of Duck Unlimited Feather Society and was on a local DU Chapter’s committee for many years.
I have been waterfowling for over 34 years and it wasn't until a few years ago that I switched to a Supreme Wad Wizard choke tube that I found out what I had really been missing in shotgun performance. I have been able to cleanly harvest more birds due to the tighter patterns. I will not go duck hunting without my Wizard choke tube system. Do yourself a favor and try one of these choke tubes, you will not regret it.
Calling contests: I started Duck Calling Competition in 2001. Below are results of my calling contests.
2007 Washington State Duck Calling Championship 3rd place
2006 None due to military obligations
2005 Arizona State Duck Calling Champion

George Lynch grew up in Southern Michigan hunting and fishing all his life. Also from an early age his father took the time to teach him every competitive sport that would fit into their schedules. George, learning this competitive spirit from an early age, wanting and striving to be the best, carried with him throughout his life. This continuous drive and desire for excellence of winning and being a part of a winning team is why George is proud to be part of the Wad Wizard Pro Staff.
In the year 2000 this competitive drive helped him win the title of Michigan State Goose Calling Champion, his first ever-calling contest. Always looking for something better is the reason George developed his own line of calls named Lynch Mob Calls. A nickname given to him earlier in his career by a neighboring Ohioan named Fred Zink, who he had worked with in a guiding operation in southern Michigan.
The call business has given him many opportunities to travel and hunt all over the country as well as Canada and to meet fellow hunters from all over. He has judged many large sanctioned calling contests as well as doing goose calling and hunting seminars for large companies such as Sportsman’s Warehouse, Cabelas, and Gander Mountain. His goose hunts have been shown in many newspaper articles, magazines, along with doing TV shows.
George is a serious waterfowler along with Turkey and Bow hunting Deer. In 2004 he co-partnered in a guide service running Whitetail hunts in Iowa where his clients killed many world-class animals. He also did a TV show with John Risinger and Matt Moore called Closing the Distance, with Matt killing a 148” 8 point on the first day of the hunt on a piece of property George discovered only 2 days prior.
George has 3 children - Brooke who is a college student, studying to become a teacher, Adam who is a student at Evangel University in Springfield MO studying to become a minister and Lauren who is 15 goes to Lenawee Christian High School and enjoys playing Volleyball. Adam is also playing baseball for EU and is starting as a freshman.
George strongly believes that family should be a main priority in our lives, and instilling good morals and honest ethics along with strong character is obtained through example. George believes it is the same for our future young hunters that are starting today. He believes we, as respected and seasoned hunters should set the benchmark as to why we hunt and to respect all game laws. He believes that this type of professionalism to our sport and game laws is a key essential to managing our resources.
One of George’s goals is to produce instructional videos that can teach young and old alike on the true professionalism of our sport. This is why George is proud to be part of the Wad Wizard team that strives for perfection in product and in character.

Chasing birds from his first duck harvest at the age of 7, that is what’s been going on. Starting his lifelong passion on the small marshes of Hancock County with his brother Jason and his dad is where it all began. Even after sinking the boat during a tornado on his first hunt, the need to get under every duck and goose he could would not be dashed. Jeremy grew up in Kanawha, Iowa where he attended school thru graduation. He then attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge Iowa where he majored in Law Enforcement while playing 2 years of college baseball. After school Jeremy was hired on with a security service where he worked for 5 years. Knowing he needed more time to get to the blind a career change was in order. Jeremy is currently the COO and Sales and Marketing manager for Lynch Mob Calls Inc.
Jeremy starts his waterfowl season every year in Saskatchewan Canada and hunts multiple areas in the Mississippi Flyway during the season. The cornfields of Iowa is where most of Jeremy’s action takes place, and where he calls home, but has been fortunate to hunt in many other areas where he has met some of the nicest folks in the industry. Jeremy is also very excited to be a Pro-Staff member of Avery Outdoors/GHG and Lynch Mob Calls, Inc.
Some of Jeremy’s passions within the industry include serving on his local Ducks Unlimited Board, Taxidermy, and the exciting life of photography, which is one of the roles he takes on with Avery Outdoors. Along with that he enjoys training his hunting dogs and spending time with his two young sons in the outdoors. Jeremy resides on acreage outside of Clarion Iowa with his wife Sara, and their two young sons, Tanner and Reed.
Whatever the species we are hunting, one thing is a must for us and that is the quality and dependability of our hunting equipment. Whether it’s clothes, decoys, guns, trailers, etc we demand optimum performance, this is why we stand behind the Wad Wizard brand. From the SWAT over decoys for medium range up to the bad boy of tubes, the Supreme, for big honks and Turkeys, the Wad Wizard tubes are always on the road with the Lynch Mob Team. Feel free to contact Jeremy at jeremya@averyoutdoors.com anytime.

I consider myself very fortunate in life. It all began in 1989 when my dad took me on my first duck hunt and I have been hooked ever since. I feel it’s important to give back to the sport I love and the outdoors, this is why I have been a Ducks Unlimited volunteer for the past 18 years in Province of Quebec.
I’m married to a very UNDERSTANDABLE wife who gave me 3 magnificent children, who knows "how to deal" with the obsession of a waterfowler and who puts up with one of my passions, which is calling. But my #1 priority and passion is still my family.
My first choice in waterfowl hunting, without a doubt, is the honker! I had the chance to hunt in 3 different Provinces, but big mallards and black ducks at the end of the season are hard to beat! Ducks will always be my first love.
I was a guide for 5 years for outfitters and on my own for Canada geese. I also owned a small waterfowlers pro-shop. Over the years I gave seminars and private lessons for duck and goose calling. Today I concentrate more on my family, with 3 kids, they take a lot of my time! But it is well worth it. I still do some calling lessons from time to time.
Thanks to everyone who helped me along the road. A wise person told me one day, "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world". This is so true, I think you get from life what you give.
Thank you, Lorie and Wad Wizard, you gave me a ¨unfair advantage¨ over the game, like you say it’s DRT performance! Contact Brian at brianbergeron@hotmail.com |
